Like most people leaving University I never really had a clear idea of what I wanted to do with my career… I graduated from university with a Psychology degree but never truly enjoyed studying enough to want to go onto a masters or PhD. Without wanting to sound like a narcissist, I felt like I was the sort of person who needed to be constantly engaged with other people to be at my most productive.
Although initially quite difficult to grasp, recruitment has turned out to be a really enjoyable and varied job day-to-day. From getting out and about, liaising with clients and candidates, meeting weird/wonderful people and beginning to master the recruitment craft over the last 3 years… it’s been a great crack!
