BI Data Analyst – Business Intelligence Data Analyst – Looker – Hybrid – 6 Months – £450/£500 (Outside IR35) – Immediate Starters
This is an exciting opportunity to join our client and work within a renewable energy business that has grown rapidly, with over 300,000 customers and 300+ employees.
What you’ll do:
- As a BI Analyst, you will be responsible for building the BI/MI reports.
- You will partner effectively with data engineers on scalability, data quality management, data delivery management and performance optimization.
- You will work closely with the business and technical teams in analysis on many non-standard and unique business problems and use creative problem solving to deliver actionable output.
- Experience in conducting advanced data analysis to support business decision making.
- Experience in gathering requirements and formulating business metrics for reporting.
- Experience in working with large-scale, complex datasets in large data warehouse environments.
- Track record of drawing insights from data and to effect tangible, real-world changes.
- Demonstrated ability to autonomously deliver on ambiguous projects with incomplete or unstructured data.
Essential Skills:
- 3+ year’s commercial experience in Business Intelligence
- Advanced SQL Skills
- Experience delivering automated reports using reporting or data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI, QlikView, Quicksight, or MicroStrategy
- Experience designing and working with engineers to build analytics reporting services for production environments
- Strong understanding of BI technologies and their application including database warehousing and dashboarding
